- Weeding Bee
Date: Saturday 13th February
Details: Annual weeding and maintenance of the population of the Near Threatened small tree Citrus gracilis on Sayer Road. Please come for the morning with gloves and a mattock to despatch with the Gamba Grass and Mission Grass tussocks.

Date: Thursday 18th February
Details: Dr Ben Hoffman, research scientist with CSIRO will talk about "Facets of Ants, the interaction of ants, plants and insects". In particular, Ben will provide some recent observations and discuss an experiment with an invasive ant species.

- Field Trip
Date & Time: Sunday 21st February, 8:30am
Details: Meet at the picnic ground carpark at Charles Darwin National Park for a morning assessing the Data Deficient ground orchid Nervilia peltata. Please come along and remeasure some plots
set up several years ago to investigate the impact of fire regime on these
little known local orchids. Please bring
hat, water bottle and wear long trousers and long sleeved shirt for protection
from the insects.

Nationally Threatened and cryptic herb Typhonium taylori in the Howard River system.
